Hornbill Festival is known as the festival of festivals.
This is one of the grandest festivals that Nagaland brings to life, uniting all 17 Tribes.

This is the time when you see Naga culture flourishing in its full glory.
You can also witness folk performances, tribal Morong (representations of tribal community houses), a bamboo pavilion showcasing art and craft, and a farmers' market. Of course, you'll have the opportunity to savor Naga cuisine.

We've included additional experiences and destinations to enhance your journey.
Enjoy a Khonoma walk, explore the Gibbon Forest, visit Majuli Island, stay at a tea estate, and embark on a Kaziranga safari.

Day 01- Guwahati - Kaziranga | Overnight at Kaziranga
Travel - 240 km / 5-6 hr 
Highlights & Experiences:
Welcome dinner and orientation. Orchid park.Leisurely evening. 

Day 02 - Kaziranga- Jorhat | Overnight at Jorhat
Travel -  100 km / 2 hr
Highlights & Experiences:
Morning Jeep Safari at Kaziranga. Kakosang Waterfall hike.
Stay inside a tea estate. 

Day 03 - Jorhat - Majuli - Jorhat | Overnight at Jorhat
Travel - 60 km / 2 hr / Brahmaputra Sail 2 hr both ways
Highlights & Experiences:
Brahmaputra Cruise, Majuli Island Day excursion. 

Day 04 - Jorhat - Gibbon - Kigwema | Overnight at Kigwema
Travel -   203 km / 5.5 hr
Highlights & Experiences:
Morning Guided forest walk at Gibbon Sanctuary. enroute hot water spring.

Day 05 - Kigwema | Overnight at Kigwema
Travel - Local travel
Highlights & Experiences:
Hornbill Fest at Kisama Village. Folk performances during the day.
Live music concert in the evening. 

Day 06- Kigwema | Overnight at Kigwema
Travel - Local travel
Highlights & Experiences:
Hornbill Fest at Kisama Village. Bamboo pavilion, Moron hopping, Farmer market  & War museum. Evening for live music concerts.

Day 07- Kigwema - Khonoma - Dimapur | Overnight at Dimapur
Travel -   108 km / 3 hr
Highlights & Experiences:
Kohima local (War cemetery, Kohima Cathedral), Khonoma Village walk. 

Day 08- Fly-out from Dimapur
