Welcome to the Konyak Cultural Encounter.
This encounter will take us through the Konyak tribe, native of Northern Nagaland on the Indo-Myanmar border, to explore their unique traditions and have a closer look at the Headhunting Warriors.
We will also get to meet the last of the living (the last generation) Headhunters and photograph them with tattoos on their chests and faces indicating their headhunting heroics.

Day 01: Arrival at Dibrugarh | Airport Transfer |Overnight at Dibrugarh
Travel - Airport is 15 Km away. / .5 Hours
To arrive in Dibrugarh by or before 2 PM
Sunset cruise on River Brahmaputra.
Day 02: Dibrugarh - Mon | Overnight at Mon
Travel - 115 Kms / 4-5 Hours
Day 03 - Day 05: Mon - Longwa - Shangnyu and Chui Village | Overnight at Mon
Travel - Within 50 km radius. And Local walking involved.
Morung Experience, Storytelling, Community Visit, Village Walk, Photography, Local Cuisine. We will visit the local villages in the Mon-Longwa vicinity.
Day 06: Mon- Sivasagar- Dibrugarh| Overnight at Dibrugarh
Travel - 180 km / 6-7 hrs Hours
World Heritage Site of Saraideo Maidam and Ahom kingdom ruins.
Some musical celebration at Rudrasingha's Park.
Travel to Dibrugarh.
Day 07: Departure - Airport Transfer
